Most people are familiar with basic Norse mythology thanks to the Marvel series popularizing the character of Thor. This series is based on his home, and the many characters that go along with the story and narrative. Although it looks different than people are now used to seeing in the Marvel movies, it is no less fun to play or look at. It also pays better than watching the marvel films! If that weren’t enough reason to enjoy it, we’re not sure what would be.

Choose Your Character

One of the best features of the game is that you can choose your character essentially. Based on the God you choose, you will have different bonuses and detriments compared to the others. This fundamentally change is the way you play the game, and the amounts that you win. It isn’t as in-depth as an actual video game with RPG elements, but it is a nice change of pace. We preferred Loki, but everyone will probably have their own preference. There is also a Valhalla feature that will let you win a bonus round, and that’s its own thing as well.

The things that you match are basically the recycled images of all of the Norse gods of the location. This includes Loki, Thor, and Odin alongside all of the suits of playing cards that you are used to seeing in games of the sort. The backgrounds are also well drawn, and the user interface fits the theme. There isn’t much about it that we do not enjoy.

Bet a Little or a Lot!

Another interesting feature about this game is the high number of lines you can bet on. Up to 243 lines can be bet on at any one time. This is a huge leg up from what the average game would offer. Most games I’ll let you bet on 25. That’s a good way to make the winnings more interesting, that actually adds in a bit more fun because you can win in more ways than one, two, or even 10. With the amount of ways you can win, it pays to bet more!

You probably already know if you’re going to like this game based on looking at it. The graphics themselves are something you’ll either love or hate. The gameplay mechanics are authentically good, however, and lend themselves to immersion. We recommend it wholeheartedly!
